Selected as one of the best papers from the 2014 annual conference of European Decision Sciences Institute, this paper written by Thomas Poulsen provides insight into the strategic management considerations within the global wind industry with a focus on shipping and logistics.
I am a passionate networker and when feasible, I try to connect the dots. In one case, I had met a group of technical experts within a particular segment of offshore wind and listened to their ambitions. I subsequently met a company from another country and a senior company representative voiced a need for something quite similar. I put the two teams together and helped them get off the ground as a member of the Board of Directors of the company they founded.
