On December 15 2020, 88 people from across the offshore wind energy, logistics and shipping sectors came together to discuss and learn about wind cross-value chain collaboration on shipping and logistics. The day was organised and facilitated by Thomas Poulsen as the facilitator of the Wind Logistics Group in collaboration with Energy Cluster Denmark.
The conference included 5 panels with one facilitator and three panellists in each, discussing different issues, solutions, and topics. The focus of the day was where shipping and logistics meets the wind energy industry. Thomas Poulsen not only planned and organised the panels, he also gave a keynote presentation as part of one of the panels. The topic of his keynote was the offshore wind energy infrastructure in the US. As master of ceremony for the event, Thomas facilitated the transitions between panels throughout the day, the breaks, the virtual networking event, and the opening as well as closing of the Summit.
The December 15 2020 event was the fourth Energy & Transport Summit organized and planned by Thomas Poulsen since 2013. More information about this and the past Energy & Transport Summits can be found here.
